Anastasiia Zhuravel

Anastasiia Zhuravel is an Urban Studies Researcher based in Berlin. She holds a Master of Science in Urban Management from Technische Universität Berlin, within the Faculty of Planning, Building, and Environment. She also completed the Harvard Leadership for Sustainable Reconstruction of Ukraine course at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research focuses on critical urban studies, with an emphasis on collective civic actions, urban governance, and sustainable urban systems. In addition to her academic work, she is also a consulting researcher on the reconstruction of Ukraine, contributing to projects aimed at sustainable urban recovery and resilience. Anastasiia is the co-founder of the Charity organisation LASKA in Kyiv, Ukraine, and the founder and curator of the International Design Lab, Re:imagining Your City, based in Berlin, Germany.
